Big Sky Electric was created to respond to the need for a competent industrial electrical contractor that is highly skilled, experienced, cost effective, schedule driven, and works safely. Our management team has the experience and knowledge to construct the most sophisticated and technically challenging electrical projects. Big Sky carries both A and C-10 licenses, is fully bondable and insured, and utilizes union craftsmen.

John Phillips, Chief Operating Officer
John has over 40 years experience in the electrical construction field. His point of focus for the past 26 years has been industrial work. Some of the notable projects he has been associated with are Hyperion Energy Recovery, D.C Tillman WTP Phase II, Perris Valley WRF, Riverside Tertiary Project, Chino Basin RP-4, Rialto Plant 5, West Basin MWD Phases II, III, & IV, and Bakersfield WWTP #3.

Larry Strohm, Operations Manager
Larry has over 25 years experience managing and supervising teams of electricians completing fast track, high profile, complex industrial, power, and water treatment projects while maintaining an impeccable safety record. He also serves on the NECA Board of Directors. Larry has worked on such projects as Colton Cement, Pear Blossom Pump Station, Solar II, Lockheed Martin E.E.L.V., Reliant Energy Bighorn PP, Foothill Pump Station, EMWD Hemet Filtration Plant, AVEK Plant Expansions, and the Enertech Biosolids Facility.

Chris Livingston, Senior Project Manager
Chris has over 21 years of experience with technological installations, heavy industrial sites, power plants, water treatment facilities and process projects. He has managed crews ranging from a few electricians to multiple teams completing installations on multiple projects simultaneously from the level of foreman to Electrical Division Manager. Some of Chris’ projects are Texaco Refinery, Burbank WTP, Terminal Island Treatment Plant, and LA/Glendale WTP.
